The house is located on the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, a 5 hour drive or 30 minute flight from San Jose.
Our central location is perfect for exploring the area. Pristine Playa Manzanillo is a 10 minute drive away while the towns and beaches of Montezuma and Santa Teresa are 30 minutes away. Playa Hermosa, with is great snorkeling and large tide pools is 15 minutes away. The commercial center of Cobano is a 20 minute drive from the house.

In addition to the beautiful beaches and forests, Cabo Blanco and Curu nature reserves are located a short distance away. Each offers trails suitable for a stroll or serious hike. The nearby beach towns of Montezuma, Santa Teresa and Manzanillo offer restaurants and shopping for every budget. Surfing lessons and horseback riding can be arranged in any of these towns.
